Costume Party

Every year my husbands family has a costume party for Halloween! This year I decided to go as the Corpse Bride.

Here are the pictures of what I started off with.

I made my veil out of parts of the dress and a hair band.

And after hours and hours of work, here is the end product...

The party was a lot of fun. I won the best dressed female! Anya didn't want to dress up. Ian went as an army man.

Pumpkin Carving 2012

This weekend was the annual pumpkin carving party! It was a lot of fun like usual. The kids both got to carve a pumpkin. There were a lot of kids that were Ian and Anya's ages, so they all had a very good time running around acting crazy! We finally ended the evening around 1AM. Needless to say they both passed out as soon as we got upstairs.

Before the party started Ian, Anya, and I went to a little pumpkin patch down the road and got the pumpkins for the party. 

And I failed to get a good one of them both together on the pumpkins...
