Last post I provided the scenery. Now to show the happy faces that were able to experience the bliss. The hike took us about 3 hours to do. Anya walked the first 15 minutes. John and my dad carried her the rest of the way.
This is my brother Randy's first vacation that he remembers. He was so excited the whole trip. During the hike he and Ian were very entertaining. They kept each other going the whole time.
A before shot of all of us before we started.
And we have to do a goofy shot.
Anya's initial reaction to the falls caught on camera. I didn't do any editing, so it is over exposed, sorry.
Dad found a snake.
Ian found a hole.
Randy wanted to see too. He ended up seeing something move and jumped very hard ending up with hitting his face on the tree and bending his glasses. It was quite funny to watch. The glasses were easily fixed.
At one point Anya was grumpy and tried to get me to carry her. I was not able to do that because I had my huge camera bag and she is like a million pounds. Dad volunteered to carry her on his shoulders. She almost fell asleep.
Playing on a rock wall.
My brother Mike.
Ian being goofy. I think he is a spitting image of his shirt.
I climbed to a big rock in the middle of the stream to try to take some pictures up close. I then played a little with some self portraits. I also used this picture for this weeks assignment.
Ian and his rock.
Almost done with the hike, Anya got some energy.
Ian found a rocket launcher.
There was a sign that read " I cannot bear to leave Bushkill Falls", I couldn't agree more.
Great, great photos!
ReplyDeleteThey deserve a scrapbook mini-album.
