We went to the Steamtown Railroad. We rode the train and went through the museum. It was a lot of fun and very educational for the kids.

Vacation part 3
The main pass time while we were at the lake house was feeding the geese and ducks! It was an amazing experience. We had them literally eating right out of our hands! At one point, Ian was standing hip deep in the water and a goose was eating bread out of his hand. It also got impatient enough at one point that it tried to take it before Ian was ready to give the bread to it. We went through two loaves of bread, two and a half packages of crackers, and half a bag of goldfish! I think we all enjoyed taking care of them.

Home at last!
Yesterday we arrived at home right after 9pm. It was actually a pleasant trip. The kids were angels the whole time. Since I didn't keep you updated on our trip, I'm going to give you a few doses of the vacation at a time! Last post, I told you what we did on the first day. The second day it was so rainy and cold :( But we made good use of it and went to what was called Boulder Field. It was beautiful. These boulders were pushed to this spot back when the glaciers were around. There were so many of them and they were actually quite large. I ended up with a full rain suit on. I put my camera in a clear, plastic bag and tied it around my hand, and in the other hand I had an umbrella. Maneuvering around on the rocks was a challenge, but I managed to get a few nice shots.
My assignment last week was landscape nature: black and white. Here was what I turned in.

Hello to those at Home!
Things are going great here! We are on vacation for the week. The weather has been cold and rainy, but we are not going to let it get us down. We stopped at Chocolate World in Hershey, PA on the way here. I was disappointed. It seemed kind of cheesy. The kids seemed to like it though. We got to get a few novelty items, then headed out.
Here are a few shots at a rest stop.
We stopped for gas and I had to get a shot of this adorable Denny's.
We took a shuttle to Hershey World from the hotel.
And inside the building...
The kids got to work an assembly line packaging kisses.
Then we took the tour of the "factory".
The kids seemed to be excited about the lake house once we got there. The weather was nice the first day.
Anya and Ian love the hammock.
We got to feed ducks the first day, then the next morning, we saw a mama duck and her ducklings!
We went zip lining!
It was so much fun!

I'm a slacker!
It has been brought to my attention that I have been slacking. I am sorry to those who follow my blog. I have had a pretty busy week! Not only have I neglected my blog, but I have also taken very few photos too :( Here are the few that I did take though.
This makes me laugh!
