Ian has been taking this week off of school. This morning we decided to spend the day outside . We had to put on sweatshirts and the girls had to put on a show for me. I love this picture because they're both holding the same pose. I couldn't get a picture of the boys because they spent the whole time in the woods.

Scrapbooking rub ons!
Today I decided to try something new with my nails! I painted my nails and let them dry. I then used the rub ons from my scrapbooking stuff. Then I topped it off with a clear coat!

Hunger Games
I finally broke down and read the Hunger Games Trilogy. I have to say that I was extremely happy that I did. These books were so good that I read all three in a total of 4 days! John read all three of them in nearly the same time span as I did. If you like to read very interesting and action filled books, I highly recommend reading these books.
Now, if you haven't read the books, but have seen the movie, please remember DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS MOVIE. The movie leaves so much out it isn't funny. I think that if you are passing up the books because of the movie that you are missing out on an awesome opportunity for a great read. John and I watched the movie after reading the books. We discussed the discrepancies all throughout the movie. We had some fun sharing something that I have formed a passion for, READING!

A day at the Zoo!
On Friday we went to the zoo with a friend and her kids! We had a wonderful day. John had the day off so he was able to go with us as well!
Now that I have only Francie three days out of the week, I can go places because her carseat fits in my Jeep!
Here was our crew and how they rode between exhibits most of the day!
For todays school assignment for Ian, I had him draw his favorite things from the Zoo.

A day on the Lake!
This weekend I went out on a pontoon with a lot of my dad's side of the family! We had a fantastic time. There was a total of 37 of us. We got two pontoons and my uncle also brought his fishing boat to pull a tube behind.
It was a great day! Thank you to my husband for watching the kids while I went out to play!

Ninja boy
I think that I have said that I have a full time babysitting job. Well this little man came over on Thursday with this adorable outfit on. His mother told me that he had it all laid out the night before. So this took some careful planning.
This summer has been wonderful with him and his older sister full time. Now that school has started up Mazie will only be here on school breaks and I only have Kieran two days out of the week :( I still have Francie full time Monday through Friday. I have said this before but I want to say it again; I love my job!

Head shots!
Last week a friend of the family asked me to take some head shots of her for a college resume. I gladly accepted. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take them! I think that I may have found my one true hobby! I am in love with the results.

Living the busy life!
Once again life has grabbed a hold and hasn't released until I feel as though I am getting dizzy with the whirl wind of activities.
We recently went to a birthday party for Barrett's #1.
I purchased a backdrop for taking pictures of people. I practiced with the kids. There are a lot more of Anya because every time I went to put the camera away, she would cry.
On Sunday Anya and I went to the local town parade. Ian wanted to stay home with John, so Anya got enough candy for the both of them!
We have been busy, but having fun. Living and loving life.
